Hello All, We are just recovering from a data-loss outage. Thank goodness for backups! Things might be a little wonky while we pound out any kinks left in the system. We thank you for your patience!
Sucreabeille is a Seattle based, Indie Perfume and Body product company that I had the pleasure of finding out about from my friend Kelsey. I love being introduced to new companies, especially new companies with coffee perfumes! (Maybe I should just change this blog to Pacific Redhead: Adventures in Coffee perfume, jk) She sells far more than coffee perfumes of course. You can find her shop here. I bought a 5 scent sampler pack in her Eau de Parfum, which she can only sell in the United States. She also offers a perfume oil and dry oil which she can sell internationally. This is… Continue Reading
I am so excited to chat with ya’ll about the newest subscription box I get Uppercase Box. I try and cycle my subscription boxes so I’m not getting a lot at once and I recently cancelled Miss Tutii, Birchbox and Ipsy in favor of getting an Uppercase Box instead. I read quite a bit and by quite a bit I mean at least 2 books a week. I have a Goodreads account where I keep track of everything I read and my reading goal for the year which is 52 books, I am sure I will get well beyond 52 books at the… Continue Reading
I believe that Solstice Scents needs no long introduction as Angela creates some of the best Indie Perfumes you can get your hands on, in my humble opinion. I have yet to find a perfume I haven’t enjoyed immensely. You can purchase Solstice Scents via her website that I linked right there. As I’ve said before other than the scents themselves my favorite part of ordering from Solstice Scents is the work that goes into the general theme of the perfumes and the story of the Town of Foxcroft. All of the perfumes are themed around this fictional town of foxcroft and… Continue Reading
I first heard of Madame Scodioli from the Indie Perfume Lovers facebook group when another blogger posted her favorite perfume list right now and I know I’m going to sound like a parrot here but I love coffee. So when I saw that Head over Heels was a chocolate truffle and espresso perfume why the heck was I going to turn that down. I sold a few unloved bottles and purchased this baby. It is a 1oz or 30ml bottle for 30$ if you don’t get the atomizer or if from that same link you pick the atomizer bulb it is 36$ and was… Continue Reading
When I read that Southern Comforts was going to be coming out with a Spring Collection that used fruit melanges, light florals (the kind I actually like!) and honey; I just knew that I had to try them. I picked up a full sample set with all 10 Spring Collection perfumes when she listed the samples. (As of this post full-sizes are not yet available and will be posted on March 18th) You can buy the samples in three different ways as part of a 10 pack for 30$, 5 pack of any perfume in the shop for $16, or individually for $3.50 each…. I have done a previous post about Lilac & Moss that was an Interview & Review, which if you haven’t read you should check out, and since then I upgraded my Latte sample to a 5ml bottle and bought two other 5ml bottles as well in Haven and October. She gives you a choice of clear or amber bottles and either 5ml or 10ml bottles. A 5ml roll on bottle is $11.00 to $12.00 depending on the blend and a 10ml roll on bottle is $20 to $22 depending on the blend. You can purchase the perfumes here in the link to… Continue Reading
I have a few random Arcana bottles to review, I am fairly active on Reddits /r/indieexchange and /r/indiemakeupandmore where I can swap/sell/buy new perfume or bath & body products. I had listed a few things from my collection for sale and a girl reached out to me wanted to purchase quite a bit was wasn’t sold on the price so we decided to do a partial swap + money, which is always great. She had a few bottles I’d been wanting to smell, plus The Kraken which I’d had to sell a bit ago when we were in a tight… Continue Reading
One of my favorite things is getting a curated box of products so when Sugar and Spite, one of my favorite perfumeries, announced she was going to offer a one-off box I wanted to hop at the chance to snag one. Well, I missed the first round but thankfully it was so well received Lysa, the owner & creator, decided to release it again for a second time on a pre-order basis so more people could have a chance. I also have to mention Lysa’s wonderful customer service. When I received my box I was actually missing the two perfume… Continue Reading
I’ve written about Lou Lou’s before since that review Evelyn has only gotten better. A few of these blends are from her new Amusements, Travels and Curiosities Collection, I’ll note which are with a * and some are from her general collection. I’ve always found Lou Lou’s to be strong when it comes to gourmand perfumes, her staying power and throw are incredible but this new collection is just out of this world. I think she has truly found her niche when it comes to gourmands meet something different and interesting.
